Finlandia University defeated a group of GMHL All-Stars 6-1 in Houghton, Michigan on Thursday night.

The GMHL All-Stars included a pair of Temiscaming Royals including forward Chris Hebert and defenceman Felix Gilbert. Both were held off the scoresheet for the All-Stars in the game against the Division III U.S. College hockey team.

This is the second trip south of the border for players of the Greater Metro Hockey League. Another group of All-Stars will travel to Wisconsin later in the season.

The goal of the All-Star events is to allow GMHL players a chance to be scouted by various NCAA schools.
