Eskis blow out Royals in game 3

IROQUOIS FALLS, ON - The Abitibi Eskimos rebounded after an OT loss in game 2 in Temiscaming with a convincing 11-1 victory over the Royals in game 3 of the NOJHL Eastern Conference semi-final.
IROQUOIS FALLS, ON - The Abitibi Eskimos rebounded after an OT loss in game 2 in Temiscaming with a convincing 11-1 victory over the Royals in game 3 of the NOJHL Eastern Conference semi-final.

The dominant Eskis line of Begin, Clancy and Boutin - which was shut out in game 2 - rebounded with 11 points between them.

Joshua Clancy and Michael Robert each had a pair with singles going to Begin, Eric Carrier, Riley Currie, Travis Paradis, Jason Robin, Laurie Gieni and Ryan McDonald scored for the Eskis in the game 3 blowout.

Royals defenceman Benoit Fiset broke Eddie Davey's shutout with an unassisted marker in the third period.

The win gives the Eskis a 2 games to 1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Game 4 takes place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Centre in Temiscaming.
