Eskimos forward Maxime St. Pierre scored a power play goal in the final two minutes of the first overtime period and Jus Jordan arena erupted as the Eskimos win 4-3 over the North Bay Skyhawks and even the series at 3-3.

The OT winner came at the tail end of a 5-minute major that was assessed to Skyhawks forward Trent Lizee near the 15 minute mark of the first overtime period.

The Skyhawks head coach Ian Swalucynski wouldn't comment very much on overtime 5-minute major that cost them the game.

"It was a controversial call," is all that he would say about it.

The Skyhawks had leads of 2-1 and 3-2 but the Eskimos were able to battle back to even the score.

Joel Senecal, Dustin Fummerton and Solomon McCann scored for the Skyhawks.

"We had a chance to put them away," said Swalucynski, who sounded surprisingly upbeat after the game 6 loss.

Matt St. Jacques has scored twice for the Eskies while Brent Wesley notched the tying goal midway through the third period.

Swalucynski says they won on Sunday to allow them 2 cracks to finish off the series. They will have to do it Wednesday night or the season is over.

"We like to have home ice advantage and we've only lost 4 games at home all season long," he said.

"We try our best to represent the city of North Bay, now we are asking North Bay and a big crowd to help us."

Game 7 will take place Wednesday night at Memorial Gardens.
