Over St. Patty's Day weekend, North Bay's Elite Alpine Ski Cross (EASX) entered into the three-day Calabogie Spring SX.

Despite the challenging weather and temperature changes, it was an amazing weekend of racing; including a training day, followed by two days of racing.

EASX athletes competed hard and strong, showing very well with lots of podium finishes.

EASX had 13 athletes who travelled to Calabogie to compete in the U12, U14, U16 and OPEN (men and women classes).

The athletes really enjoyed the aggressive, fast, exciting course with lots of jumps, rollers and berms. It was a great way to finish up the SX race season in Ontario.

Elite Alpine Ski Cross will continue to train as long as Laurentian Ski Hill stays open, which looking outside, could be a few more weeks.
