Double Gold for Walters

West Ferris Secondary Student Matt Walters won two gold medals at York University's High School Invitational Indoor track meet on the weekend. Matt finished first in the 34 man field 1500 M senior boys race with a time of 4:05:83. In the 3000 M race he placed first out of twenty-two runners with a 8:53:86 clocking. Teammate and twin brother Nick won the bronze medal in the 1500 M with a 4:06:82 time and finished fifth in the 3000 M race while Kevin Perry finished 15th with a 10:30:10 time.

Jordan Scott placed 29th at the 400m distance with a 59:32 and he finished 26th in the 800m with a time of 2:21:39
