North Bay's Daralynn D'Angelo captured silver on the weekend at the World Masters Games which are taking place in Edmonton, Alberta.

D'Angelo, the current Canadian Masters Champion and record holder finished with a 46 kilo lift in the snatch and a 66 kilo lift in the clean and jerk for a 112 kilo total and a silver medal. Germany's Andrea Demme took home the gold with a combined lift total of 132 kilo's.
