This year's total, now at 16,211, was also boosted by a donation from Dave Lamothe of Carte Blanche Promotional Products Inc. and Mark Kosturik of M&M Meat Shops. They combined to add 825 pounds to this year's Coach4Food fundraiser when Cristobal Huet visited North Bay.

Last year the fundraiser brought in 5,029 pounds (2.5 tons) for the North Bay food bank and this year will run until December 23rd with the grand total being announced Christmas Eve.
