Tom Hedican's Coach4Food Program for 2007 finished with more than 21,000 pounds, or 10 tons of food.

The West Ferris Wingate Bruell Bullets Major Atom ‘AA’ squad, sponsored by Danielle Cousineau, John Davis, and the team at Symetrics, loaded another 1,762 pounds to the previous total on Sunday night.

Topping off the campaign is a cash donation the equivalent of three thousand pounds of food by North Bay native Ed Kilroy, who is now CEO of Symcor Inc. of Toronto. That donation rocketed the Coach4Food total to 21,881 pounds or more than 10 tons of food for the North Bay, Powassan and Sturgeon Falls Food Banks.

The program, inspired by rock star Bruce Springsteen, collected 5,029 pounds of food last year.
