Clash of the Titans - Wildcats out score Trojans

The Widdifield Wildcats remain the only undefeated team in NDA senior football as the Cats outlasted the West Ferris Trojans in an offensive slugfest 47-35 Friday afternoon at Widdifield. Both teams were 4 and 0 prior to the Friday afternoon contest.

The Wildcats got off to a quick start in the first half building up a 21-0 and were led offensively by wide receiver Jesse Bethune who scored two touchdowns for the Cats. With the score 40-35, running back Wylie Phillips scored a 60 yard touchdown to put the game out of reach, spoiling any chance of a Trojan comeback. The Cats win also spoiled a tremendous offensive showing by Trojans wideout John Gore who scored four of the Trojan touchdowns.

In other NDA senior football action Friday, the St. Joseph/Scollard Hall Bears thumped the Chippewa Raiders 37-16.
