Sudbury Wolves Head Coach & General Manager Mike Foligno is looking forward to his first visit to North Bay in many years when he leads his team against the Rouyn Noranda Huskies Saturday night in North Bay. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

“I remember as a young boy travelling to North Bay to play against some of the best hockey teams in the north,” Foligno said.

“We were always a bit intimidated and in awe of the tremendous fan support that the hometown teams received.

“North Bay fans always motivated their players to play their best every night. The hockey fans of North Bay should be extremely proud of their hockey heritage. Their passion as it was in the past, is still alive and well today.

“It is our pleasure to bring this memorable ONTARIO VS QUEBEC hockey game to North Bay and to say 'thank-you' for your continued support and enjoyment of this great game of hockey in North Bay.

"The Sudbury Wolves are very proud to contribute to the celebration of North Bay being selected as Hockeyille. We sincerely hope that North Bay hockey fans will enjoy the show.”

Rouyn-Noranda Head Coach & General Manager Andre Tourigny is equally as thrilled.

“It is a great pleasure for us to play in HOCKEYVILLE 2007. The Huskies family would like to congratulate the City of North Bay for it’s selection as HOCKEYVILLE 2007. We would also like to congratulate the organizing committee for their hard work and planning of the big event.

“We are pleased to accept Sudbury’s invitation to play a game in North Bay. Our team is looking forward to the challenge of playing a team from Ontario. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top. We thank the Wolves’ organization for this unique invitation to participate in this special event in North Bay – Hockeyville 2007.”

There are still plenty of excellent seats available for Saturday night’s game in North Bay. Tickets are $10.00 for all ages. A pre-game autograph session with the top NHL prospects from both teams will be held from 5:30 – 5:50 in the lobby of the North Bay Memorial Gardens.
