Chippewa drops a pair on opening day of NOSSA boys hockey

The Chippewa Raiders NDA hockey championship team had a tough start on day one of NOSSA taking place at McLelland Arena in Sudbury. 

The Raiders built up a 2-1 lead but St. Charles from Sudbury battled back for a 3-2 win on Monday morning.  

Heath Bradley scored twice for the Raiders in their opening loss.

On Monday night, the Chippewa squad lost 5-4 to St. Mary's from Sault Ste. Marie. 

David Hora, Heath Bradley, Landon Boulet and Kyle Anderson scored in the loss. 

Chippewa will be looking for a win over Lo-Ellen of Sudbury as puck drop is set for 10:45 a.m.
