Canadore Panthers fair well at Humber Hockey Tournament

The Canadore Panther Hockey Team competed at the Humber Tournament Nov 17th and 18th. The Tournament consisted of 18 teams (6 pools of 3). In pool play Thursday night, the Panthers defeated University of Toronto (Scarborough campus) 5-2.
The Canadore Panther Hockey Team competed at the Humber Tournament Nov 17th and 18th. The Tournament consisted of 18 teams (6 pools of 3). In pool play Thursday night, the Panthers defeated University of Toronto (Scarborough campus) 5-2. The Panthers then went on to defeat Mohawk 5-3 and finished first in their pool.

The first place finishers of each pool were then placed in one of two “A” division pools of 3. In their “A” pool, the Panthers were narrowly defeated by Sir Sanford Fleming 3-1(Fleming scored an empty net goal with time running out). Canadore rebounded with a 6-2 win over Sheridan.

The Panthers tournament hopes ended as Fleming went on to play for the gold.
