Bulldogs sweep offensive and defensive NFC awards

McKerrow Bilz and Brad Kerr were named NFC offensive and NFC defensive players of the week respectively for their play in last week's 8-3 Bulldogs victory over the Tri-City Outlaws at Rollie Fischer field.

McKerrow Bilz and Brad Kerr were named NFC offensive and NFC defensive players of the week respectively for their play in last week's 8-3 Bulldogs victory over the Tri-City Outlaws at Rollie Fischer field.

Running Back Mckerrow Bilz rushed 13 times for 88 yards and caught one pass for 20 yards in the win, while linebacker Brad Kerr led the Bulldogs defence with 7.5 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.

However, Kerr's defensive highlight was his game saving jarring hit on Outlaws quarterback Jeff Nosal who was trying to get around Kerr for the winnning touchdown late in Saturday's contest.
