NFC Playoffs

North Bay Bulldogs 12
Oakville Longhorns 41
Final

Anthony Gauthier got the Bulldogs on the board first with a 5-yard interception return off Longhorns quarterback Tom Dennison.

The interception came two plays after a Kevin Ramakko fumble deep in Longhorns territory.

Bulldogs extra point try was blocked.

Not long after quarterback Tom Dennison hit receiver Vaughn Swart on a 50-yard pass and run to even things up at 6-6.

The Longhorns also missed their point after attempt.

The Bulldogs looked to have good drive going but a Jason Ferreira pass on the Longhorns five yard line was deflected and intercepted by Marco Periera who ran it back 80 yards which set up a 2 yard touchdown run by Dan Seymour to make it 12-6 and with a successful point after it was 13-6 early in the second quarter.

Later on the Bulldogs drove inside the Longhorns 20 when Sterling Bilz fumbled and five plays later Dennison threw another 50 yard touchdown strike to Swart and with the point after it was 20-6 Longhorns with about 10 minutes into the second quarter.

Late second quarter the Longhorns pad their lead even more as Dennison hits Will Mayhew for a four-yard touchdown pass with less than two minutes to play in the half. With the extra point it's 27-6.

In the second half the Longhorns continued to rack up the points and once again the combination of Dennison to Swart was deadly. Dennison hit Swart for the third time on the night to make it 34-6 with another long 60 yard touchdown pass and run.

Still in the 3rd quarter, Dennison connected with Swart for a 65 yard touchdown pass to make it 41-6.

On the night Vaughn Swart hauled in 4 touchdowns and 255 receiving yards with still one more quarter to play.

The Bulldogs finally got some points on the board late in the 4th quarter as Jason Ferreira found Nick Gordon for a 28 yard touchdown play and with another missed convert it was 41-12.
