The North Bay Bulldogs are hoping to have a 1-1 record under their belt when they host their home opener next weekend at Rollie Fisher field against Sault Ste. Marie.

The Bulldogs opened the season last week against Oakville, getting hammered 48-13, but Saturday night they look to get into the win column as they face the 0-1 Markham Raiders at Markham Centennial field (game time 7:00 p.m.). The Raiders dropped their season opener last weekend 13-8 to Sault Ste. Marie.

Bulldog bites

McKerrow Bilz and Ford Morland both lead the Bulldogs with one touchdown each... Quarterback Mark Mcleod passed for 155 yards and a touchdown last week against Oakville... The inaugural Bulldogs radio broadcast will play on the Bulldogs website Sunday at a yet to be determined time.
