Bulldogs face Hawkeyes in quarterfinal (new)

The North Bay Bulldogs will face the Hawkeyes in Oshawa in one of three quarterfinal games in the Northern Football Conference Saturday.
Game time is 7 p.m. at Civic Fields.
In their lone meeting this season, Oshawa defeated the Bulldogs 10-6 in North Bay.
“Hopefully we will have everybody out for the game,” Bulldogs head coach Marc Mathon said. “We were missing some players when we faced Oshawa.”
Not in the lineup was kicker and punter Rick Thompson.
“I know we would have won with Rick in the lineup,” Mathon said.
Running back Mick Bilz was the league’s leading rusher with 616 yards on 119 carries. He picked up 166 yards against the Hawkeyes and earned offensive player-of-the-week honours.
Quarterback Dave Wilson completed 78 of 158 passes for 876 yards and six touchdowns. He was intercepted 14 times.

North Bay (7th) at Oshawa (2nd) 7 p.m., Civic Fields
Sudbury (6th) at Milton (3rd) 4 p.m., Milton District High School
Tri City (5th) at Mega City (4th) 7 p.m., Birchmount Stadium
