Bull & Quench scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and cruised to the North Bay Senior League Baseball League Monday night at Veterans Field.
They defeated Carte Blanche Rotarians 14-4 to win the best of three final in straight games.
Carte Blanche took a1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Bull & Quench responded with and with the aid of four walks and four hits, they scored seven.
Mike Dowdall lead the way for the winners with three runs scored with Dave Hanam and Duran Size each scoring two runs along with two hits. Scott Jackson also had two hits.
Nick Cicci had two hits and two runs scored for the Rotarians
The league grew to five teams this season and there is a strong base for expansion in 2005.
