Builders win Senior Baseball title

The Sturgeon Falls Builders defended their championship title with a 13-8 win in the deciding game over Carte Blanche Rotarians in the United Rentals Senior Baseball League finals taking the series 2 games to 1.
The Sturgeon Falls Builders defended their championship title with a 13-8 win in the deciding game over Carte Blanche Rotarians in the United Rentals Senior Baseball League finals taking the series 2 games to 1.

The Builders were full value for their win jumping out to a 9-0 lead and holding off the Rotarians. Jason Fyke was the winning pitcher throwing a six-hitter. Matt Shank lead the way with 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Jason St. Jacques, Blair Aubin and Matt Patry each had 2 hits.

Marty Shank had a two run home run for the winners.

Nick Gordon and Kyle Bourque had 2 hits each for Carte Blanche.
