The Northern Braves were hoping to make the first blemish on the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears record. At halftime the two clubs were deadlocked at 14-14.

The Braves actually took the lead 20-14 in the 3rd quarter but the Bears offence then took complete control of the game en route to a 42-20 victory.

Bears quarterback Kevin Clayton threw four touchdown passes in the victory.

Braves running back Cam Rivard ran for two touchdowns.

The Bears scare allows them to remain unbeaten on the year with a perfect 5-0 record. The Braves sit in fourth spot in the league with a 1-4 record.
