Rookie Trappers head coach Robin Boucher will relinquish his head coaching duties with the North Bay Trappers due to new work commitments.

The former Trapper and former North Bay Centennials captain has been hired by the North Bay Police Service. That will mean Boucher will be heading to Police College in Aylmer, Ontario early in the New Year.

Boucher was named head coach of the North Bay Trappers last spring during the club's awards banquet. Last year Boucher got his first taste of coaching by working as an assistant coach with the North Bay Skyhawks.

Beau Moyer will take over the head coaching duties and he says Boucher will try to come back once every three weeks to continue to help out behind the bench. Former Trapper Curtis Goodreau will join Moyer behind the bench.
