Bouchard dominant for Titans

Dominique Bouchard led the way for the North Bay Y Titans at the Dave Kensit Championship by winning both the High Points and Senior Girls Championship, for the fourth year in a row, accumulating 6 golds and a silver.
Dominique Bouchard led the way for the North Bay Y Titans at the Dave Kensit Championship by winning both the High Points and Senior Girls Championship, for the fourth year in a row, accumulating 6 golds and a silver.

Jeremy Sallie represented himself well in the 12/13 boys bringing home 1 gold, 5 silvers and a bronze and placing third overall in his age group.

Jennifer Leckie continued to dominate the breaststroke by winning 3 golds as well as a bronze in the 200 IM.

Bryanna Penno also prevailed in the breaststroke pulling off 3 golds, a silver and a bronze in her respective age group.

Brittany Pask and Renee Gagnon both achieved a silver and bronze in the backstroke with Pask following in the steps of Leckie and Penno winning silver in the breaststroke.
Grace Liritzis, the only 9 year old competing at A Champs, Ashley Duquette, Samantha Cowan, Kelsey O’Connor, Nicole Plumb, Angelina Racine, Max Sherry, Anna Tryapichkin and Shelby Twilt all achieved top ten finishes.

The team as a whole continued to excel achieving 80% personal best times with eleven swimmers making finals. The swimmers collectively shaved off 79 seconds in the 200 IM event. The Titans continue to train for the Provincial Championship being held in London in two weeks.
