Blues repeat at Tomahawk

The Timmins High Blues won their second straight Tomahawk Basketball Tournament victory in the Senior Division as they dominated the Sir James Dunn Eagles from Sault Ste. Marie 50-28 in the final Saturday night.

Last year the host Chippewa Raiders lost in the Senior Open final 54-39 to the Blues.

In the Junior final the St. David Celtics from Waterloo came out on top as they dominated the Sir James Dunn Eagles Junior squad 64-34.

The Widdifield Wildcats kept North Bay from being shutout as they defeated the Lockerby Vikings from Sudbury 36-34 in the Midget Final.

In the Senior "A" division it was the Sacre-Couer Grissons from Sudbury over the Central Algoma Huskies 46-40.
