Blades stay alive

Caleb Cameron kept the Blades playoff hopes alive with a 4 goal performance as the North Bay squad defeated the Sudbury Wolves 5-3 in game 3 of the best-of-five Northern Ontario Bantam 'AAA' Hockey League semifinal.

DJ Wainman added a goal and two assists while Carter Conlon played a solid game to keep the Blades alive in the series.

The Blades lost both games on home ice last weekend to fall behind in the series 2-0. The Blades will try to even the series up at 2-2 when they play game 4 Sunday morning (11:00 a.m.) in Sudbury.

The Blades will be without both Brad Prescott and Cam Ladouceur for the remainder of the series after both received fighting majors.
