The Blades won a pair of games on Saturday, 3-2 in the afternoon and followed that up with a convincing 5-2 victory Saturday night at the Sportsplex in Timmins.

Nicklas Huard had a pair of goals in the afternoon win, with Chris Hebert scoring the game winner in the third period.

Peter Easton and Chris Hebert each had a pair of goals in Saturday night's win, with Nicklas Huard adding a single in the 5-2 win.

On Sunday, As the Rangers scored five times in the second period en route to a 7-2 victory over the Blades. Adam Marceau and Nickolas Robidas scored for the Blades in the loss.

With the pair of wins the Blades move only two points behind the Rangers for fourth spot in the five team league. The Rangers have eight points in 13 games while the Blades have six points in 16 contests this season.
