Blades season ends in OT

The North Bay Blades fought hard but Drew MacMillan's OT winner spoiled an incredible Blades comeback as the Soo Thunder defeated the North Bay squad 6-5 in the extra period to win the best-of-five Northern Ontario Bantam AAA semi-final in three straight.

The Blades were down 5-2 near the halfway point of the third period before they scored three times in less than 5 minutes to even things up at 5-5 and send the game to overtime.

Nicklas Huard scored twice for the Blades with singles going to Chris Hebert, Dylan Dutrisac, and Peter Easton.
