Adam Hewitt scored twice in the first period as the North Bay Hilltop Variety Blades hung on for a 4-1 victory over the Sudbury Wolves in game 4 of the Northern Ontario Bantam 'AAA' Hockey League semifinal match in Sudbury Sunday morning.

With the win the Blades tie the best-of-five series at 2-2.

Ryan Scott and Caleb Cameron scored the other goals for the Blades in the win.

It has been an impressive weekend for the Blades who lost the first two games of the series on home ice last weekend.

"I was not sure how focus the team was going into the opening of the series with Sudbury," said Blades head coach Rob Ladouceur about the comeback weekend in Sudbury.

"With all the suspensions and appeals that were being worked out it kind of took the focus away from what was ahead.

"Once we were down two games we got together for a team meeting and all agreed that it was going to be one shift, one game at a time. We have played well all year in Sudbury and knew that if we could get the first one under our belt it would put some pressure on them. With players out with injuries and suspensions everyone stepped up and really put an extra effort in, especially guys like Caleb Cameron and Adam Hewitt."

The deciding game of the series will take place Thursday, March 6th at West Ferris arena.
