Blades drop three against Sudbury Wolves

On Saturday morning the Blades dropped a close 3-1 decision to the Wolves. Thomas Casey scored the lone goal for the Blades, while Erik Faucon took the loss in goal.

Saturday night Adam Marceau gave the Blades an early 1-0 lead, but the Wolves responded with four second period goals en route to the 4-1 victory.

On Sunday morning the Wolves completed the weekend sweep by doubling the Blades 6-3. Cameron Leggett, Nicklas Huard and Ryan Leckie scored for the Blades who had a 3-2 lead in the third period before the Wolves scored four unanswered goals in less than four minutes to put the Blades on ice.

With the three losses, the Blades fall to 1-9 on the season and sit last in the five team Bantam AAA league.

The Blades are off this week and then host the unbeaten Soo Thunder on October 22nd and 23rd at West Ferris arena.
