Blades come home with a point

The Hilltop Variety Blades finished their regular season on the road Saturday with a double header against the Sudbury Wolves. The Blades started the day off by tying the Wolves 2-2.

The Blades started the day off by tying the Wolves 2-2. Dakota Barnhardt tied the game in the second after the Wolves took the lead twenty two seconds into the period.

In the third Mitchell Davis gave the Blades a one goal lead but the Wolves came back and tied the game thirty seconds later.

The night game was all Sudbury as the home team skated to a 10-3 victory over the Blades. Tyler Poeta had two goals for the Blades while Eric Langford notched the other.

The Blades finished the season with a 12-18-2 recond, which is good enough for third spot.
