Big third helps Skyhawks sail past Jr. Wolves

The North Bay Skyhawks scored 4 times in the 3rd period including an empty netter by Joel Senecal as the Skyhawks defeated the Sudbury Jr. Wolves 7-4 at the Garson arena on Wednesday night.

Alex Valenti continued his torrid scoring streak with 3 goals for the Skyhawks - his second hat trick in as many games as he turned the trick against the Eskimos at Memorial Gardens on Sunday. Dustin Fummerton fired home a pair of goals while Trent Lizee rounded out the scoring for the first place Skyhawks who are 8-2 in their last 10.

Former Skyhawks defenceman Chris Pontes had two goals for the struggling Jr. Wolves who have lost 5 straight.
