Bears win Sudbury basketball tourney

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears Jr. boys basketball team claimed the title in the B Flight of a tournament in Sudbury on the weekend.

The Bears dropped their opening game of the tournament 50-42 to Lockerby before rattling off victories in their next 3 games including scoring more than 60 points in all three wins including a 62-40 win over Sudbury Horizon in the B final.

Bears go into the break with a record of 5 and 0 in NDA and an overall record of 15 and 2.
