Bears win Jr. Boys title

Alex Zimbalatti scored the winner in the 96th minute to give the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears a 2-1 victory over the Widdifield Wildcats in the NDA Jr. Boys championship game.

"The boys battled through adversity all year, both externally and internally," said Bears head coach Frank Ricciuti.

"They came together when it counted the most and played a complete game, eliminating Widdifield to any major chances throughout the game. St. Joseph-Scollard Hall soccer will have a bright future with these group of guys for years to come."

Jacob Desarmeau scored the other Bears goal.

Jesee Moreau scored the lone goal for the Wildcats.
