Bears reign supreme in NDA senior and junior boys soccer

Bears beat Widdifield 1-0 in the senior final and Jr Bears won 2-0 over Algonquin in extra time

It was a great week for St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears soccer as the senior and junior boys captured NDA titles.

The St. Joseph–Scollard Hall Bears senior boys soccer team captured the NDA Championship versus the Widdifield Wildcats on Omischl Soccer Field.

The game showcased some of the great young soccer talent that North Bay has to offer.

The hard-fought victory saw SJSH striker, Dylan Simon score a beautiful goal and eventual game-winner just before the end of the first half.

The Wildcats had their best chance with seconds left in the game, but SJSH Goalkeeper, Adam Courchesne, was able to get his hand on a well-placed ball making a spectacular save securing the 1- 0 victory for the Bears.

Jr Bears win NDA title in extra time

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears junior boys soccer team finished off their perfect 6-0 regular season by rolling through the playoffs and winning 2-0 over the Algonquin Barons in the NDA jr boys soccer final held on Wednesday night.
