Bears out of Toronto area tournament

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey team finished with a 1-2 record at the 48 team Father Goetz hockey tournament. The North Bay high school team was knocked out of the tournament Friday night as they dropped a 6-1 decision to St.

The North Bay high school team was knocked out of the tournament Friday night as they dropped a 6-1 decision to St. Mary's, the #7 ranked high school team in the province. Brayden Degagne scored the lone goal.

The club's only victory came in their second game Friday as Kevin Finner scored an overtime goal during 3 on 3 play to give the Bears a 2-1 win Friday afternoon against Crestwood from Peterborough. Rocky Peterson scored the other Bears goal.

The Bears dropped their first game 4-0 to Meadowvale from Mississauga. James Rivet and Nick Fava were the Bears game stars.
