Bears finish OFSAA 1-3

After a 1-1 start the Bears dropped their final two games in round robin play at the OFSAA Boys AAA Hockey Championships taking place in Oshawa this week. On Thursday night the Michael Power St. Joseph Trojans edged the Bears 3-1.
After a 1-1 start the Bears dropped their final two games in round robin play at the OFSAA Boys AAA Hockey Championships taking place in Oshawa this week.

On Thursday night the Michael Power St. Joseph Trojans edged the Bears 3-1. Travis Kivimaki scored the lone goal for the Bears.

Meantime, on Friday morning the Bears dropped a 6-2 decision to Belle River to finish up their season. Ryan Davis and Mat Pepin scored in the loss.

The Bears were humbled 11-1 in their opener Wednesday night against the John F. Ross Royals from Guelph. Paul Traynor scored the lone goal in the loss.

But early Thursday morning the Bears bounced back with a 4-2 win over the St. Joseph Jaguars from Ottawa.

James Rivet, Matt Pepin, Randy Twomey, and Travis Kivimaki scored for the Bears in the win.
