Mathew Cheaney scored the games only goal as the Alonquin Barons edged the Widdifield Wildcats 1-0 in the NDA Jr. Boys soccer semi-finals Wednesday night.
Philippe Dufresne recorded the shutout for the Barons.
In the other NDA Junior Boys semi-final the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears blanked the Franco-Cite Patriotes 2-0 at Cundari field Wednesday night. Sebastien Tremblay and Jesse Yeomans scored for the Bears while Mike Young was credited with the shutout.
The Barons and Bears will meet on Friday in the NDA Jr. Boys final.
