The NDA and NOSSA champion St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears are 1-1 after their first two games at the OFSAA AAA Boys Hockey Championships taking place this week in Oshawa.

The Bears were humbled 11-1 in their opener Wednesday night against the John F. Ross Royals from Guelph. Paul Traynor scored the lone goal in the loss.

But early Thursday morning the Bears bounced back with a 4-2 win over the St. Joseph Jaguars from Ottawa.

James Rivet, Matt Pepin, Randy Twomey, and Travis Kivimaki scored for the Bears in the win.

The Bears take on the Michael Power/St. Joseph Trojans from Etobicoke at 6 p.m. on Thursday night.
