WINDSOR, ON - The Algonquin Barons got off on the right foot as they edged St. Patrick's from Toronto 4-3 in their opening game of the OFSAA 'A' Senior Boys Soccer Championships.

Simon Tessier gave the Barons an early 1-0 lead, St.Pat's replied with two quick goals and the half ended 2-1 in farour of St. Pats.

Jean-Michel Paulin evened the score early in the second half, but St. Pat's again took the lead with 20 minutes to play.

Simon Tessier scored to tie the game at 3-3. Then is was Zach Wilkinson who scored the game winner with 10 minutes remaining.

Barons draw even with Kenora

Zach Wilkinson scored with 5 minutes remaining in the game to give the Barons a 3-3 tie with St. Thomas Aquinas from Kenora in their second game of the OFSAA tournament Thursday afternoon.

The scored was tied 1-1 at the half. Devyn Savignac scored on a header for the Barons in the first half.

Jean-Michel Paulin scored the other Algonquin goal. The Barons need a win or a tie vs Smithville Friday to advance to the quarter final Friday afternoon.

Barons earn tie, Advance to Quarters

The #5 seeded Algonquin Barons tied their 3rd round robin game vs the #3 seeded Smithville 1-1.

The Barons led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Zach Wilkinson.
The tie allows ESCA to advance to the quarter finals at 3:00pm.

Barons bow out in quarter final

The ESC Algonquin Barons lost their quarter final match to Glengarry High School by a score of 5-2 goal scorers for the Barons Simon Tessier and Devyn Savignac.
