Nick Bedard scored twice to lead the Algonquin Barons to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Franco-Cite Patriotes in NDA Senior Boys soccer quarterfinal play on Monday.
Dominic Coote, David Piquette and Matthew Cheaney had the other Barons goals while Alex Rainville replied for the Pats.
Algonquin will meet West Ferris in the semi-finals taking place at the Trojans Alumni Complex on Tuesday.

Kilian Schlemmer scored twice to lead the Widdifield Wildcats to a 3-1 win over the Algonquin Barons in NDA Jr. Boys quarterfinal play on Monday.
Waqas Khan scored the other Cats goal.
Charley Bates scored the Barons lone goal on a penalty kick.
