Matthew Philbin's put-back with 3 seconds left in the game proved to be the winning basket, earning Algonquin's 8th victory of the season. Dave Foster hit two foul shots to seal the win. Foster had a game high 27 points, Phil Courschesne added 6, with Mathieu St.-Louis and Philbin chipping in 5 each.
SJSH's scorers were Joe Auger with 16, Kevin Clayton had 13 and André Filiatrault and Ryan Desharnais adding 6 points each. Next up for the Barons are the Chippewa Raiders Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. at Chippewa, then on Friday they host the unbeaten West Ferris Trojans.
