The ESC Algonquin Barons handed the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears their first loss of the regular season 2-1 on Wednesday night at Memorial Gardens. Despite being outshot 28-9, the Barons squeaked out the win with some solid defensive play and some timely saves by goaltender Richard Delorme.
Jean Benoit and Devin McGirr scored for the Barons while Jamie Olivier replied for the Bears.
