The Algonquin Barons Senior Boys soccer team is competing at OFSAA 'A' Soccer Championship in Chatham. On Monday morning in 32 C heat and humidity, the Barons lost 3-0 to West Elgin Senior Secondary from West Lorne - the #1 seed in the tournament.

On Monday morning in 32 C heat and humidity, the Barons lost 3-0 to West Elgin Senior Secondary from West Lorne - the #1 seed in the tournament. Trailing 1-0 at half time the Barons had some chances early but could not convert.

The Barons dropped their second game 4-2 to St. Thomas Aquinas Senior Secondary from Kenoroa on Monday afternoon.

Davyn Savignac scored both goals for the Barons.

The Barons third game takes place Tuesday morning as they face King's Christian S.S. from London.
