Als give Royals first regulation loss

The Nipissing Alouettes handed the Temiscaming Royals their first regulation loss in front of a packed house at the Centre Thursday night.

McKenzie Charron scored three times for the Als as they defeated the first place Royals 7-4.

Jarrod Shawanda, Andre Landry, Cody Tourigny and Will Laporte - who scored the winner in the final two minutes of play - scored the other goals for the Alouettes.

Als goaltender Tristan Jones was very busy on the night as he faced 62 shots in the victory.

Alex Brazeau, Sebastien Poirier, Brandon Blanche and Darcy Vaillancourt scored for the Royals.
