Alouettes goaltender Patrick Beaudry makes a stop on Kings forward Jacob Costanzi as Als Andre Landry dives in to try and break up the play.

The number 2 seems to be a lucky number for Als goaltender Patrick Beaudry. For the fourth time in five games, Beaudry has allowed just two goals in a game this time backstopping the Alouettes to a 5-2 win over the Espanola Kings. Will Laporte, Jarrod Shawanda, Travis Kivimaki, Erik BĂ©langer and Kory Cashaback all scored for the Alouettes. Laporte also added three helpers while Kivimaki added two.

Coming off a 59 save performance in a 6-2 win over Elliot Lake last weekend, Beaudry was particularly stellar in the first period as the Kings fired 17 shots his way with only one finding the back of the net. He faced 15 shots the rest of the way. The Alouettes don't have any time to waste as they hit the road tonight to take on the Kings in Espanola in the back end of the home and home series. The Als next home game is Friday, December 21st as they host the league leading Bradford Rattlers.
