Als back to .500

The Nipissing Alouettes climbed back to the .500 mark Friday night with a convincing 4-2 win over the second place Richmond Hill Rams. The Als now sit in a tie for fourth spot with the Toronto Canada Moose in the Greater Metro Jr.

The Als now sit in a tie for fourth spot with the Toronto Canada Moose in the Greater Metro Jr. A Hockey League standings at 16-16-4. Dan Mitchell, Mitch Sullivan, Guy Wallace and Kory Cashaback scored for the Alouettes. Mitchell and Sullivan also each had a pair of assists.

The Alouettes next home action comes Saturday night against the King City Wild. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. The game is a re-scheduled contest to make up for a cancellation earlier in the season due to harsh traveling conditions.
