Alouettes win third straight

Erik Bélanger continued his hot play scoring a hat trick to lead the Nipissing Alouettes to a 6-4 win over the King Wild on Sunday afternoon in Sturgeon Falls. Andre Landry, Mackenzie Charron and Matt Greenhalgh also scored for the Als.
Erik Bélanger continued his hot play scoring a hat trick to lead the Nipissing Alouettes to a 6-4 win over the King Wild on Sunday afternoon in Sturgeon Falls. Andre Landry, Mackenzie Charron and Matt Greenhalgh also scored for the Als. Ian Jacobson, Kory Cashaback, Jarrod Shawanda and Kory Clermont added two helpers each.

Pat Beaudry was solid in goal making 37 saves for the win.
The win also moves the Als record to .500, good for fifth place in the GMHL standings. The Als now get ready to hit the road next Friday as they visit the second place Elliot Lake Bobcats.

The Als then host the Innisfil Lakers on Sunday afternoon at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
