Alouettes snake bitten

The Nipissing Alouettes allowed a 3-2 third period lead to slip away as the Bradford Rattlers came back to tie the game and score the game winner in the dying seconds as the Rattlers snuck by the Als 4-3 on Wedneday night at the Sturgeon Falls arena.

Dan Mitchell led the Alouettes with two goals while Kory Cashaback scored the other goal in the loss.

The Als now get ready for a fourth place showdown with the Toronto Moose on Friday night. Game time is 8 p.m. at the Sturgeon Falls arena.
