STURGEON FALLS - The Nipissing Alouettes and Minden Riverkings had combined for 29 goals in their previous three meetings and Friday night's game was no different as both teams combined for 11 goals in a 7-4 Alouettes win on Friday night at the Sturgeon Falls Arena.

Robin Mendelsohn led the way for the Als scoring twice while André Leclair, Arthur Ketchedjian, Dan Madigan, Sébany Guimond and David Tagvoryan added singles. Leclair and Madigan also added three helpers while Brett DeLorenzi and Greg Hyde added two each. Brett Meyers scored twice for the Riverkings while Jeff Beal and Matt Eno also scored.

Matt Perry picked up the win in goal for the Als making 24 saves. Andrew Selbie took the loss stopping 25 shots. The Als will host the last regular season home game on Sunday as they host the red hot Deseronto Storm at the Sturgeon Falls Arena. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
