MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THAT PERMIT

(North Bay , On)
This winter, the North Bay OPP and the North Bay City Police continue to sled together on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trails making sure you are riding safe. Snowmobile Trail Officers Patrol (S.T.O.P.) who are volunteer partners with our officers, enforce the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act (MSVA) including checking for your 2004 OFSC Trail Permit.

It is the law in the Province of Ontario for each sled using OFSC trails to display a valid snowmobile trail permit under the MSVA:
· The fine for not having a valid permit is a minimum of $200.00 to a maximum of $1,000.00.
· The fine for not displaying a valid permit is $90.00.
· Make sure the trail permit is attached to the bottom center of the windshield, or to the top of the engine hood as close as possible to the windshield so it is clearly visible at all times.
