PHONEY MONEY
During the past week a local grocery store has received counterfeit money and reported it to the North Bay Police Service. Two $10 bills and a $50 were passed and this Service wishes to caution the business community,
particularly with the busy season upon us. All bills lacked clarity and fine detail and were obvious photo copies. The colour change patch located on the upper corner of the $50 bill did not change colours when tilted.
