THEFTS AND MISCHIEF

(Bonfield, ON)
OPP North Bay is investigating the theft of a 1980 Yamaha XS1 Motorcycle taken some time between midnight, Thursday November 6th and 1:00 p.m., Friday November 7th, 2003 from 96 Highway 531, Bonfield, Ontario.

The motocross motorcycle was left at this address since the summer. The owner, from Harrowsmith, Ontario discovered it missing on Friday.
Police are investigating the matter.

(Port Loring, ON)
On Saturday November 8th, 2003, Powassan OPP was called to 52 Wilson Lake Cresent, Port Loring, Ontario after it was discovered that vandals had tampered with the ATM machine. The ATM is located at Simp’s Landing at this address. Sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, someone opened a drawer to the ATM. No other entry to the machine occurred and no cash was taken. Police are continuing their investigation.

(Mattawa, ON)
On Sunday November 9th, 2003, Mattawa OPP was alerted to a theft of an ATV. A 2000 Polaris Trailboss 4 wheeler ATV was stolen from 5205 Highway 17, Papineau-Cameron Township sometime between Tuesday November 4th, and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Police are investigating the circumstances regarding this theft.
